The opportunity 

You'll be joining the company at a busy time. Due to their respected name in the industry, they receive many enquiries however they're all not taken advantage of. This is where you come in. Everyday will be different and will include:  

  • Managing current and warm accounts, finding new opportunities along the way
  • Specification selling. You will be trained up to eventually be an expert in this area
  • Solution selling. The product is not a "one size fits all". You will consult closely which each client presenting them with the best solution. The products allow for flexibility and so this is where you'll be able to use your creativity
  • Delivery of the tender/bid/quote and negotiating along the way 
  • Identifying the decision makers who are usually designers and architects 
  • Wearing a few hats. The Sydney team is a small one (around 12 staff), which means the sentence "that's not in my job title" does not exist 

About you

  • First and foremost, you will have a great attitude and be self-motivated to manage your own day
  • Ideally, you will have some specification selling and/or solution selling experience 
  • They are also open to training someone up who may be a little less experienced (ie. coming from an inside sales role)
