About the Organisation:

A position has arisen for an experienced Food Safety Specialist to join an international FMCG franchise. Our client is a US based FMCG franchise corporation. They currently have over 3,300 food bars in supermarkets and other food service sectors throughout the US and Canada. With over 25 years’ of experience, this organisation has become a market leader in the US. They are continuously expanding and are looking to take a dominant share of the Australian market. They currently operate at over 150 sites in 4 states across Australia and are growing at a rapid rate.
 
About the Role:

You will be responsible for ensuring all employees are meeting and following regulatory and food safety requirements. Key responsibilities will include:

Verification; Manage and adhere to audit schedule, conduct regular audits of kiosks, forward reports onto Quality Team and Franchisee in a timely manner, conduct re-training as a result of any non-conformances raised, close out non-conformances by re-visiting kiosks and assessing staff for compliance.

Manage customer complaints; Liaise directly with the customer, conduct internal investigations based on customer complaints, compile report for Food Safety Team; including Root Cause Analysis, ensure prompt close out of all complaints.

Training; Conduct induction training all new Franchisees, assess prospective franchisees’ suitability for employment with the organisation, arrange re-training for staff based on non-conformances raised at audits or inspections, manage online training program and ensure completion of program by all staff.

Quality Assurance and Compliance; Liaise with Franchisees to ensure each location has appointed a Food Safety Supervisor, ensure Food Safety Supervisor’s certification is current and valid, communicate any changes to Quality Team.
 
***This role is based out in the field and so a car and valid drivers license is essential.
