The Mission

An exciting opportunity exists for a Communications Manager to join this reputable organisation within their Investor Relations and Communications team. Reporting to the GM of IR & Comms, you will work closely with the team of 5 and also manage one communications team member. 

You will develop, implement and maintain the internal and external communications strategy to manage risk and to boost and protect the company's reputation, whilst providing advice to the Leadership team.  The busy role will include tasks such as: 

  • Prepare written copy for emails, internal and external newsletters, website, intranet etc
  • Provide advice to different business units in relation to external affairs 
  • Liaise and manage local and international media, developing steadfast relationships along the way 
  • Work on communication outputs for key projects across the business 
  • Manage the website and implement a digital media strategy
  • PR and crisis management 
  • Contribute to half and full year reporting and investor events 

About You

Naturally, you will have strong communication skills, both written and verbal, coupled with good business writing and editing skills. A strategic thinker, you can see the "big picture" and you enjoy working in a culturally diverse environment. You're across social media management and will bring with you a know-how on how to use Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook for corporate purposes. You'll enjoy working in a small team where you will have lots of input and autonomy.
