Director – Risk Analytics

Reporting directly to the Partners of Risk Analytics, your responsibilities will include:
- Liaise with key stakeholders and clients to determine complex risk issues
- Design analytical solutions
- Identify and evaluate organisational risks and recommend process and system changes to better manage future risk
- Lead and manage other members of the team – manage, counsel, coach, mentor
- Support recruitment function
- Lead the interpretation of data analysis towards a relevant explanation of the value of our work
- Lead proposal development and communicate to clients with a focus on one or more of the following
- Risk Advisory solutions:
- Forensic response & financial crime
- Risk & controls transformation
- Internal audit
- Specialist Risk Services solutions: Cyber, Safety, Contracts and Project Assurance
- Identify data to be collected from financial systems and other related data sources
- Evaluate the reliability and utility of source information
Projects
- Work with Partners to lead projects
- Using project management methodologies; develop and manage project plans, scope, variations, risk, and knowledge management.
- Build and manage relationships, interact with senior client stakeholders. Track against key metrics, conduct billing and account management
Required attributes:
- • Bachelor degree and relevant post graduate studies
- • Experience in visual communication of analysis
- • Strong written and verbal communication skills
- • A solid technical grounding in SQL or other programming languages
- • Experience extracting and analyzing data from financial systems
- • Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in following systems and procedures
- • Excellent organizational and time management skills
- • A solid understanding of the appropriateness of applying rules-based analytics and data driven analytics
- • Strong project management experience
Experience in applying Risk Analytics to one or more of the following Risk Advisory solutions:
- • Forensic response and financial crime
- • Risk and controls transformation
- • Internal audit
- • Specialist risk services such as Cyber, Safety, Contracts and Project Assurance
- • Experience in applying Risk Analytics to at least one of the following industries:
- • Government
- • Financial Services & Insurance
- • Energy & Resources.
- • Ideally, structured problem solving skills
- • Ideally, an understanding of core accounting and business concepts
