About the organisation

Our client is a federal government department working on bringing innovative digital solutions to Australians, allowing individuals and businesses access to more services. The role will be based in either Canberra CBD or Sydney CBD (near Central).

About the Opportunity

This is a 6-month contract role with possible extension for another 6 months.

We are looking for a communications specialist to join the team and utilise their strong interpersonal skills to strengthen stakeholder relationships amongst the organisation whilst delivering a cohesive communications strategy. 

Responsibilities include:

  • develop a range of material including news articles, blog posts, fact sheets, infographics and web content. Your written and graphic skills will be required.
  • manage the delivery of internal and external communications such as newsletters and web content.
  • organise and facilitate stakeholder events and activities.

About You
You are a personable communications professional with demonstrated experience working in a similar role. No doubt you will have top-notch written and verbal communication skills and graphic capability will be highly regarded. Lastly, to be eligible you must be an Australian Citizen with the ability to obtain baseline clearance.
